What Peec AI is

Peec AI is a GEO monitoring platform built for marketing teams that want to track how their brand appears in AI-generated answers. It covers ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews on all base plans, with Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, and other platforms available as add-ons.

Founded in Berlin in early 2025, the product launched in February 2025 and reached EUR 650K ARR within four months. By November 2025 Peec had raised $29 million across three funding rounds at a reported $100M+ valuation, with investors including 20VC and Singular.

Peec scrapes AI platform UIs directly rather than querying APIs, which means it captures what actual users see rather than what API sampling returns. That distinction matters for data accuracy and has been confirmed in independent methodology comparisons.

What Peec AI tracks

AI visibility and citations: Brand mention rate, share of voice against tracked competitors, citation sources at domain and URL level, and sentiment (positive, neutral, negative) per prompt and per platform.

Prompt management: You define the prompts you care about and Peec runs them automatically on a set schedule. The platform suggests prompts based on your category and integrates search volume data to surface high-opportunity queries.

Competitor tracking: Add competitor brands by name and domain. The platform tracks how often competitors appear on your tracked prompts versus your brand, and shows share of voice trends over time.

Citation source analysis: Peec shows which specific URLs are being cited by AI when it mentions your brand or competitors. This tells you which content is earning citations and which third-party sources the AI trusts in your category.

Actions (beta): Turns visibility data into a prioritised to-do list of Owned Media opportunities and Earned Media gaps. Each action gets an opportunity score based on citation frequency and competitive gap size.

Looker Studio integration: Peec connects to Looker Studio, letting agencies build client-branded dashboards combining AI visibility data with SEO and other sources.

Strengths

Fast setup. Peec takes under an hour to configure from account creation to first tracked prompts.

Unlimited seats. All plans include unlimited users. No per-user cost penalty like Semrush ($99/user/month).

Transparent pricing. Peec publishes its pricing publicly. No sales call required.

UI scraping methodology. Captures what real users see, not API sampling artefacts. Confirmed as more accurate in independent testing.

Clean interface. Consistently cited in G2 reviews as the most intuitive interface in the category.

Limitations

Three-model cap per plan. ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews included. Every additional model costs $20–30/month.

No AI crawler monitoring. Peec does not track how AI bots crawl your site. Scrunch AI and Profound both offer this.

Limited action layer. The Actions feature is in beta. Strong for monitoring but no content generation.

No free trial. No trial access as of June 2026. Scrunch AI and Semrush both offer 7-day trials.

Our experience using Peec AI

NBound uses Peec AI for our own brand tracking and for client GEO reporting. We disclose this commercial relationship at the top of this page.

The citation source data is the feature we rely on most. Knowing which specific URLs AI engines cite when mentioning a brand tells you exactly where to build or improve content. For OneDirectory, our own SaaS product, the citation gap analysis surfaced a clear gap on org-chart-phrased prompts that our SEO rankings did not make visible at all.

The Actions beta is promising but still early. The opportunity scoring is useful for prioritisation; the specific recommendations are directional rather than prescriptive. We supplement it with our own content analysis before executing on any Actions output.

The reporting we send clients is built on Peec AI data combined with Ahrefs authority data and SEOGets organic performance data. Peec handles the AI visibility layer cleanly, and the Looker Studio integration lets us build branded client reports without the HTML-to-PDF friction we used previously.

WHO PEEC AI IS & ISN’T FOR

Our verdict

Good fit: B2B marketing teams at growth-stage and mid-market companies. Marketing agencies running GEO for multiple clients. Teams that need fast setup, clear reporting, and visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Anyone who wants unlimited seats without a per-user pricing penalty.

Less strong fit: Enterprises that require SOC 2 Type II compliance (Profound or Scrunch AI are better options). Teams that need to track Claude, Grok, or Meta AI as primary engines on a tight budget. Teams that want a fully automated content execution layer.
