Best for

What Scrunch AI is
Scrunch AI is a brand monitoring and optimisation platform for AI search engines. Launched in 2024, it targets marketing teams and agencies that need to track brand visibility across multiple AI platforms with enterprise-grade security credentials.
The platform tracks 9 LLMs on all plans: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Copilot, Meta AI, Claude, and Grok. No other tool in this review covers that range without requiring Enterprise pricing or per-engine add-on fees. Scrunch is SOC 2 Type II compliant, offers white-glove onboarding on agency plans, and has a 7-day free trial.
What makes Scrunch different
9 LLMs on all plans. No engine caps, no add-on fees. At $250/month for nine engines, Scrunch delivers the best cost per engine tracked in the category. Ahrefs Brand Radar charges $699/month for six engines.
Native GA4 integration. The only tool in this review with native GA4 integration, connecting AI citation events to sessions and conversions. AI-driven traffic typically appears as direct in standard reporting; Scrunch surfaces it correctly.
Agent Experience Platform (AXP). Creates AI-friendly versions of your pages that AI agents can read and extract cleanly.
AI crawler monitoring. Scrunch tracks which pages AI bots visit, how often, and for what purpose via the Agent Traffic feature.
SOC 2 Type II compliance. One of two tools in this review with SOC 2 certification, alongside Profound.
Strengths
Best engine coverage at mid-market pricing. Nine platforms on the Core plan. No other reviewed tool comes close at $250/month.
Native GA4 attribution. The only platform in this review that connects AI citations to actual user behaviour in Google Analytics.
7-day free trial. Test with real data before committing. Peec AI and Profound do not offer this.
Transparent two-tier pricing. Core and Enterprise for brands, Agency Core and Agency Enterprise for agencies. No hidden add-on structure.
Limitations
Higher entry price than Peec AI. $250/month vs $95/month. For teams only tracking ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, the extra $155/month buys engine coverage they may not use.
No built-in content generation. The AXP optimises how AI reads existing pages; it does not write new ones.
Less established than Profound. Launched in 2024, fewer published enterprise case studies. May matter for procurement teams assessing vendor risk.
VERDICT
Our verdict
Scrunch AI is the right choice for three types of buyer: teams that need to track across all major AI platforms including Claude, Meta AI, and Grok; teams that want native GA4 attribution to connect AI visibility to pipeline; and enterprises that need SOC 2 compliance at mid-market pricing.
For teams only tracking ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, Peec AI at $95–245/month delivers comparable core functionality at lower cost. The 7-day free trial makes the decision easier: test Scrunch with your actual brand data before committing.
