NBOUND RESEARCH
Editorial Policy
This page explains how NBound Research maintains editorial independence, handles commercial relationships, and makes decisions about what to cover and how to cover it.
Last updated: June 2026
THE PRINCIPLE
Editorial independence
NBound Research operates independently from NBound’s growth services practice. A vendor being a client of NBound’s services does not affect their inclusion, ranking, or assessment in NBound Research. Research editors make coverage and scoring decisions. Those decisions are not subject to approval by NBound’s commercial or services teams.
Commercial relationships
NBound has commercial relationships with some of the vendors we review. These may include agency partnerships, affiliate or referral arrangements, paid advertising, or clients who use these tools as part of their service engagement with NBound.
Commercial relationships do not guarantee inclusion, a higher ranking, or positive coverage. Where a commercial relationship exists with a vendor featured in our research, we disclose it on the relevant page in a clearly labelled section.
Affiliate links
Some links in NBound Research may be affiliate links. Where we earn a commission if a reader signs up through a link, we disclose this clearly on the relevant page. Affiliate relationships do not affect our assessment of a tool. We include affiliate links only on tools we would cover regardless of the commercial arrangement.
Vendor contact
Vendors may contact us to correct factual errors, submit updated pricing or feature information, or provide product context we may have missed. We review all vendor submissions and update content where the correction is accurate and verifiable.
Vendor contact does not affect scores, rankings, or overall assessment. Vendors may not request removal of negative findings that are accurate and documented.
What we do not accept
Payment to include a tool in a category review
Payment to exclude a competitor from a comparison
Vendor-written copy presented as NBound Research
Reviews in exchange for free product access, unless disclosed
Coverage decisions
We choose what to cover based on buyer demand, the availability of independent coverage from other sources, our ability to evaluate the tool using our published methodology, and whether our coverage would genuinely help a buyer make a better decision. We do not cover tools simply because a vendor requests it.
